Here she is just three days old, sleeping next to her big sister, Adrienne Noelle.

Dr. Martin-Guess left a group practice in Prescott and
established her own practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology in June of 2000. As
the longest-practicing female physician board certified in Obstetrics and
Gynecology in Prescott, Dr. Martin-Guess has an intimate knowledge of the
healthcare issues important to women in Yavapai County, and is especially
sensitive to the needs of her patients.
Married to Michael Guess in 1999, they had their first child,
Adrienne Noelle, December 2000, and their second child, Audrey Idelle, in July
2002. Having always enjoyed the practice of obstetrics, since having children of
her own she “has a real understanding of what pregnancy and childbirth is like
from a mother’s unique point of view”. She has a new compassion for her patients
and considers it a true privilege to be able to participate in one of the most
blessed events in a woman’s life. Ann Marie Mossimo, a registered Nurse Practitioner in women’s health, joins
Dr. Martin-Guess from 20 years at a large obstetrics and gynecology practice in
Phoenix. Ann Marie wanted to join a smaller practice where she could get to know
patients by name and this is just the place. She enjoys talking extra time to
educate patients and discuss their health concerns. She is a real asset to the
practice.
The new medical office is located in what was formerly the
Bradshaw Mountain Lab building. Completely renovated and redesigned to meet the
specialized needs of women’s health, it is conveniently located across the
street from the hospital at 907 Ainsworth Drive.
The new office location greatly enhances continuity of care
and makes it easier to personally manage a patient’s labor and delivery.
Previously, Dr. Martin-Guess also provided care from a satellite office in
Prescott Valley, but the distance involved sometimes made if difficult to be
able to deliver her own patients. Because deliveries take place a Yavapai
Regional Medical Center, it was decided that the very best continuity of care
could be provided to all patients in the tri-city area with an office directly
across from the medical center. Dr. Martin-Guess’ new practice focuses on women and their concerns. Bone density screening and obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations are provided within the office for the patient’s comfort and privacy. Family planning, hormone replacement therapy, health risk management, and cancer screening are just a few of the services offered to help women take a proactive approach to healthy living at every stage of their lives.
